Our Spotlight for the month is Margery aka moog25

Check out her gallery to see some inspiring layouts!

DSP - How long have you been scrapping?
Member - While Christmas shopping in 1998 I found an Ann Geddes scrapbook kit at Sam's Club and couldn't resist buying it for myself. It quickly became a passion. In 2004 I got my computer and started teaching myself in PSP.  My first actual creations were wallpaper and floor tiles for The SIMS. I bought a scrapbooking program and found it very limiting.  Then in 2005 I discovered scrapbooking websites. I discovered DSP through a listing of freebies, I posted my first page here and I've been here ever since.

DSP - What do you like best about digital scrapbooking?
Member - The freedom to change, resize and move elements and photos.

DSP - What drew you to this site?
Member - I have to admit I first came for the freebies, but I quickly discovered how friendly everyone was and how welcomed I felt. That's why I stayed.

DSP - Do you have a favorite challenge here at DSP?
Member - There are so many wonderful challenges, I don't think I could choose one.

DSP - What is your most "off the wall" layout?
Member - Party Time

DSP - Do you ever experience "scrappers block", and if so how do you overcome it?
Member - I do sometimes, but I just open a kit for a challenge, find a photo and start playing with it. Sometimes I have to delete my first few tries until something "clicks".

DSP - What is your favorite thing to scrap about?
Member - My family

DSP - If you were a scrapbook element, what would you be?
Member - I would be an overlay, they play an excellent supporting role with other elements.

DSP - What part of the site do you spend the most time in, other than your gallery?
Member - The challenge and photography forums

DSP - What other hobbies or activities do you enjoy other than scrapping?
Member - Reading, bicycling ( my major form of transportation, I usually put in over 35 miles per week) quilting and cross-stitching (although they've been put on a back burner so to speak for the time being), and photography of course.

DSP - Is there anything else you would like to share with us?
Member -  I would like to say how happy I am to have had the chance to become part of the close-knit community here at DSP.

Thanks for being our spotlight this month Margery! It was great to read more about you! ~Team Digital
